Well-written TV show: Star Trek Discovery seasons 1 & 2. I’m not sure I can distinguish the writing from the things you sew (probably a good thing), but the story is the best I’ve experienced on TV and in Star Trek.

I loved Dickinson on apple tv. It's self consciously a bit corny and sincere and uses anachronisms to make the characters, real historical people, feel more like real people

Appreciate your work. One point you made that I hadn't thought of before was how subscriber counts differ between major publications and individuals. I would also assume that the people reading an individual's Substack online are generally people who tend to agree with them. Seems like another way to silo people into their echo chambers and reduce collective knowledge. Not sure if it fits the category, but I enjoyed The Running Man by Stephen King when I read it years ago. One of the best-written tv shows I've watched is Bojack Horseman. There are so many puns, clever jokes, deep insights, internal and external conflict, and relationship development. The clearest example of this I can think of is a poem written by one of the show-writers and read by Bojack in the final season. *caution, could contain spoilers and has dark themes - https://www.indiependent.co.uk/poem-of-the-week-the-view-from-halfway-down-alison-tafel/
