That's a shame, John. Maybe a prophet has no honor in his own country? BTW, we enjoyed the coverage of the convention, LOVED the many outstanding speakers, the candidates, their families, the music, the delegates, the overall exuberant joy and expectations. Here's hoping our next chapter will be an America that values people who are being the best version of their true selves.

In addition to seconding all of that I want to come in on the chorus to praise the novels of J Robert Lennon. His novels are an IRL cheat code for finding hugely satisfying and original reads. Pick any one at random. So excited for the new book.

Thank you for recommending Frighten the Horses. I've been on a journey to try to understand trans people as a family member came out. This book is the best I've read on the subject. Now I know it's not "just a phase''. And I have a great deal of empathy for Oliver.
