Can you give us a link to Koch's short fiction? I'm not ashamed to go diving in the dumpster of a billionaire.

I'm so sorry to hear about Truman. Losing a pet is hard.

And thanks for the recommendation in your Trib column for "weird" books. Calvino's "If on a Winter's Night a Traveler" is one of my favorite books ever; it was the first, but definitely not the last, book of his that I read.

So sorry for your loss. It's difficult to say goodbye to our pets. Truman looks like a sweetheart.

I just finished Dee's "Sugar Street." It's the first book of his I have read and I will need a few days to think before I begin something new. Thanks for the recommendation for the next one. And know that so many of us are glad you and Truman shared your lives as we remember our own Trumans.

John, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear doggy Truman. It's hard to lose a faithful companion.

As for weird books, I'm sure you've seen Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy O'Toole, deserving of a look, IMHO, but did you also see At Swim-Two-Birds or The Third Policeman by Brian O'Nolan? Definitely worth a look.

As for these rich people, seriously, they can think of nothing better to do with their gazillions??? Have they heard that some people, maybe even in their state or city, are homeless and/or hungry? I'm not saying it's easy to set up a social service agency to help out, but I'm sure it could be done, and, bonus, they would get a lot more strokes than launching a Perception Box. IS2G. Some people's children.
