Congrats on the release, John, and I need you to know that literally Every Single Time I see your book's title, I do, in fact, hear that song in my head. So glad you already knew that.
Thanks, John. I am reading a hefty & well-illustrated book, Modern Art and America: Alfred Stieglitz and His New York Galleries. The essays focus on the intellectual ferment among practitioners of photography and modern art during the early part of the 20th C. This line resonated with me wrt early 20th C artists: "a process of exchange between unique intelligences." I had not recognized how important Stieglitz and his devotees were to that.
Love it, thanks for the other recommendations too!

Congratulations! I'm also looking forward to reading it. I recommended it as a purchase to my public library and they ordered three copies.
The library purchase is the best news I've had all day. Very much appreciated.
Good idea. I'll see if my library has it yet now...

I’m on the road at the moment, but when I get a moment on a computer instead of a phone, I’ll do so.

Congratulations, John! I woke up to my copy this morning, and I'm excited to read it. I also had my library purchase it.
