A great way to support Graywolf Press is to join their Galley Club. You get 6 pre-published titles and $120 of the cost is tax deductible and supports their efforts. I have been doing this for over 2 years and have found all galleys sent thought provoking. Here is the link if you are interested. https://graywolfpress.salsalabs.org/galleyclub/index.html
I just received "The Trees" because of your recommendation, and while I am looking forward to reading it, I was disappointed by the small font size which necessitates I will need to always have it under direct light. So, a question -- are all of Graywolf's books in that font, and if so, I'd like to recommend they increase it.
I think the books vary, but as you mention it, I had some issues with that font size myself. I though it was just my aging eyes failing, but maybe it could've been bumped up a bit.
Interesting. I haven't read any Graywolf Press books, but most of the ones you list seem to be about race. I guess they're in step with the times, because our media also seems to be very interested in race. And, I have to add, literary agents and publishing houses also seem to be very interested in race. Fascinating.

Graywolf has been on my reading radar for years with two of my favorite authors: Sven Birkerts and Per Petterson.

If you think about it, doesn't every book deal with race? Or are you thinking it's just the ones written by Black authors?
