John, thanks for highlighting this publisher. The Crocodile Bride sounds like my kind of story: offbeat, a little weird but ultimately a coming of age tale. I have been a little restless with my more conventional reading choices so this struck a chord. I eagerly look anticipate the book 's arrival next month.
Thank you, John, for putting Hub City on my radar -- the books mentioned look wonderful and I'm going to look forward to reading The Crocodile Bride, The Prettiest Star, Sleepovers, and Thresh & Hold. I just signed up for their newsletter!
On your indie publisher list, do you have these five?
thanks, this was really cool! indie presses that I would enjoy seeing profiled include Restless Books, Drawn & Quarterly, and (if possible since they publish your stuff too!) Belt Publishing
International indie publisher. I love it! Checking their catalog out for myself right now.
